Welcome to Hurd Hill Pottery Welcome to the first post from Hurd Hill Pottery. This small studio sits in the woods of New Hampshire beside a quiet pond, where every piece is made slowly by hand. All of the work begins with terracotta, a warm, natural clay that gives each piece its earthy character. Hurd Hill Pottery is known for bright, lively colors and pieces inspired by flowers, nature, and the changing seasons. While there are plenty of pots and planters, the studio also creates a variety of handmade items, including decorative flowers and other unique terracotta pieces. Each item is shaped and finished by hand, so no two are exactly the same. The goal is simple: to create colorful, handmade pieces that bring a little bit of the woods, water, and creativity of New Hampshire into everyday spaces.
